Canada Tourist Visa Requirements:
Passport: You need an original passport that remains valid for at least six months beyond your planned departure date and has a minimum of two blank pages for visa stamps. Remember to include copies of any previous passports and visas, and if you’ve ever been denied a visa by another country, provide details of the refusal letter.
Canada Visa Application Form: Make sure to complete and sign the visa application form.
Photo Specification: Include two recent passport-size photos with a matte or semi-matte finish, covering 60-80% of your face against a white background with no border. The dimensions should be 50 mm wide by 70 mm high (approximately 2 inches by 2-3/4 inches) with your face height measuring between 31 mm (around 1-1/4 inches) and 36 mm (about 1-7/16 inches) from chin to the crown of your head. These photos should be clear, sharp, and in focus. Be sure they are not older than three months, and avoid using scanned or stapled photos that have been used for previous visas.
Covering Letter: Write a covering letter with your name, designation, passport number, and explain the purpose of your trip. Outline who will be responsible for covering all trip expenses, including travel, accommodation, and other costs. Address this letter to “The Visa Officer, Embassy of Canada, Dhaka.”
Invitation Letter (if applicable).
Forwarding Letter: a) Obtain a forwarding letter or No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your company’s authority on the company’s letterhead. Include your name, designation, passport number, and details about the purpose and duration of your visit. b) If you are a student, include a visa request letter from your educational institution or provide evidence of school enrollment.
Proof of Occupation: a) If you are a first-time traveler or a business owner, provide the original, notarized, and English-translated company registration certificate along with photocopies of the original. b) Include copies of your office ID card and visiting cards.
Financials: a) Submit your company’s or personal bank statements for the last six months, clearly stating the bank’s name and telephone number. b) If applicable, provide salary slips for the past six months.
Airline & Hotel Reservation: Include your ticket itinerary and hotel booking details as part of your application.
